he pretty much proved that with this campaign.

It's close call for worst GOP campaign...him or Thompson?

Guilliani by a long shot. Then again Edwards has been the worst out of all of them. In an election screaming for someone to represent the middle of the country, after being cast as a moderate would could reach out to all, he runs as the farthest left liberal possible. Brilliant, and his campaign is circling the drain as we speak.

Just heard on Fox News. Thompson's dropping out.

Seriously, was he ever really "in"? From his website, to his speeches, to his not quite finished position statements, it seemed like a half assed attempt without a real desire.

I hope the taste got him excited enough to really run in 4 years. I think he adds a lot to the national debate.

It is unfortunate that Thompson's campaign never gained much traction. He was the only GOP candidate I considered voting for.

So how long until he endorses McCain?

His campaign was really disappointing.

He added more on "Law and Order," actually. Just another out of touch old white guy running for power. Good riddance, Fred.

When do you think the Dems out of touch middle aged white guy running for power will drop out of the race? Do you think the out of touch white woman running for the Dems has a chance to win?

I wish he'd drop out now because he'd give the out of touch not white guy a chance at beating the out of touch white woman.

Without knowing everything about the case, it is probably worth pointing out that even the worst person in the world deserves fair and qualified legal representation in our system.

Although, since the non white guy has been planning to run for President since he was in Kindergarten, you'd think he'd have been more careful about his client list and only accepted business from the cleanest of the clean, because the non-guy would obviously go after him for that.

Why don't you tell us who we should vote for then because the Pope isn't listed on the ballot.

The American justice system is designed in such a way that it functions at its best when everyone has vigorous legal representation. We usually can rest at night knowing that when someone is convicted there is a high probability that that person is guilty. You probably would have found fault with Mr. Master's first lawyer for representing a murderer. It would be a sad day when lawyers were asked to be judge and jury. When defendants could not find decent representation because lawyers were judged by their clients.

So when you criticize a lawyer for their clients, you are criticizing the cornerstone of the American justice system and that ain't cool unless you're a commie, and you ain't no commie are ya?

I could be wrong, but, I assumed Mr. G was just sort of joking around about the current dirty tactics being used by the out-of-touch white woman in the race, to get a rise out of you.

I wouldn't vote for the pope. Do you know what kind of activities he was involved with as a child?

Well, the Rudy effect is at full steam in Florida now - the state he went to 2 weeks ahead of everyone else to try to get a win. He had a substantial lead there at one point. But, just as with every other state he campaigned in, the more time he spends there, the more his numbers fall. He's really just not a likeable guy.

Average position in the last 5 polls in Florida of the candidates:

McCain: 22.6%

Romney: 22.2%

Giuliani: 19.0%

Huckabee: 14.4%

Paul: 5.4%

Please Rudy, do us all a favor and just get the hell out of the way.

Huckabee is in a world of hurt now, that not many people are talking about. he is having a helluva a time raising money, and is fading fast. This is going to be down to McCain and Romney really quick.

And they both f'ing suck. What an AWFUL election for true "get the government the hell out of my life" conservatives.
