Alex Rodriguez on pace for 126 homers

Would it be completely assinine to say I think he's going to break Bonds' record?

I think the best thing for baseball is if A-Rod breaks the single-season record for home runs and overshadows Baroid in the all-time pursuit.

not at all. I think he wil do it. I'm rooting for him. Hopefully he opts out of his contract. That would be awesome if he shuts out those whining Yankee fans after they booed him non stop the last few years. It's alright New York, you have Jeter.

his comment today just secured the thought in my mind that he will undoubtedly opt out after this season. I'm sure he does want to resign with the Yankees, because they'll be able to throw the most money, but he'll test the waters and see what he can get.

He has the tools. He is easily a threat for the "non performance enhancing drugs" season home run title.

A-Rod is a beast... I think something like 64 homers, 162 RBI is a distinct possibility...

How do you know he never has taken performance enhancing drugs? If I was a gambling man, I'd say that about over half the players in the league have taken or currently take some type of performnce enhancing drugs.

and how do you know he is? That's the easiest argument in the world to make.

There's no evidence at all throughout the duration of his career that he's taken any kind of performance enhancing drugs at all.

How does he get his figure about 50% of players currently or previously juicing?

Canseco said something like, "More than half" or something about who was juicing. I think it was Canseco.

However, I don't think Alex is a juicer, but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Who even gives a f*** anymore? It's become so played out, every time a player does something positive offensively you get to hear about how he's probably on some sort of performance enhancing drug. I'm just so f***ing sick of the lameass speculation about EVERYONE. What's the point anymore?

Thats the case with EVERYTHING these days..

If you do anything good, you don't get credit for it there had to be something that helped you get that because there is no way you can do it on your own..

Its come to the point where I have been with people who assumed steroids on other people in the weight room, that they don't even know, and they weren't even like HUGE people

Steroids in baseball aren't a big deal to anyone. We all pretend they are -- Bonds is the devil -- but nobody cares.

Well, except for the families of those dead kids.

If there were two leagues, the performance enhancing league where anything goes and the all-natural organic league, which league would draw better?

550 foot monster homeruns and 100 mph pitches

or

Small ball and knuckleballers?

You very well know what I meant.

President Gregory Pratt: He's for dead kids.
