I hope so.

Maybe he is going to pull a roger clemens like move and jump in come june. haha

I think there's a shot he could be interested in being a catcher and my guess is the club prefers him to Molina. But I also know the Sox have told him he could coach (at least in the past) in the org so maybe they are about to announce something.

Either way he's more than welcome in the dugout because he's a great baseball guy.

As of yesterday he was playing for the Albuquerque Isotopes which I believe is affiliated with the Mets. I'm surprised the Mets would allow him to sit in another ML team's dugout. Did they release him?

Sorry... I don't know who it is in the dugout that I am confusing him with.

The Mets' AAA team is the New Orleans Zephyrs and he's on that roster along with another aging old ML catcher whose name escapes me.

My mistake. They must have been playing the Isotopes yesterday then. Anyway, as of yesterday he was playing for the Mets AAA affiliate, so I would doubt that it was Sandy who was in the Sox' dugout tonight.
