I thought we broke out of our slump??

Fortunately it's only one run........unfortunately our offense has looked anemic except for a handful of games this season.

It's been like 15 innings or so since we last scored.

we need a handful o runs

I've never seen Buehrle go to so many 3 ball counts against a hitter.

Joe didn't have any explosiveness in his legs and back to make that throw...he's almost become an offensive AND defensive liability out there on the field.

Not sure if he would have had Upton, but it would have been VERY close.

I think he was just trying to get rid of the ball because of Upton's speed.

That was a better throw than I anticipated....Crede at 100 pct doesn't make that play due to Upton's swing. Shields is putting that first pitch fastball right down the plate with no movement.

We're doing about as well as the Eddie Griffin led Pirates under Tommy Amaker.

Well, you can't say Erstad can NEVER turn on a ball and drive it to RF!

Maybe Thome's rubbing off on Darin?

grindy is on fire

for the love of god gooch, just move him over

at'll do, pig

get him in jim jam

No surprise there....gotta shorten your swing up.

Once again we cannot execute.......

hawk PLEASE SHUT UP, you are NEVER right anymore.

Settle down, Hawk. That ball was in front of the warning track.

hamburgers

Thought he got that ball. Shields looks like crap tonight....it's just our offense is even worse. It's like these guys look at the paper, and if they see the pitcher has a great ERA, they just have no confidence. Kinda like how Konerko said before yesterday's game that they weren't going to score a lot of runs.

0 for 7 in only 3 innings with RISP.

Threatening to have the worst team RISP average in history after leading the AL last year.

Leadoff double for Tampa Bay.

Let's see if they can come through, here. Like a real offense should.

Another game where Buehrle looks like crap, and it's just a matter of time before they have a multiple run inning.

Haha....nice outside fastball making it easy for Wiggington.

I don't think anyone can doubt that Konerko wouldn't have made so much as a dive for the bal, and this game would have been 2-0.

What an ending to the inning.

Great heads up play by Uribe.

Great stop by Erstad at 1b, and then a nice all-around play by the infield! Let's get some f***ing runs now.
