Not really, if he brings in anybody but Jenks they probably give up a 3 run homer. At least Javy has pitched well all night and had a shot to get the out.

yea it was risky. the last 2 times he did this the guy went deep (elijah dukes and i cant remember the other one), but im happy he got out of it. i hope we see jenks

I've seen enough in 4 at bats to like Owens more as a leadoff hitter than our last guy. At least he has the ability to be a threatening prescence offensively.

 

Jenks is in, thus he's not hurt and thus our manager really is THAT dumb. But we don't win anymore, so I am going to try and enjoy a rare non loss game, and quit whining.
