Ozzie will give him every chance to get the win, which is fine. Does it even matter? This is what happens when you shut down after 3 innings.

True. we lose this game no matter what at this point.

I love when Hawk disappears from the broadcast for long periods of time.

Sometimes I think it is because DJ secretly unplugged his microphone.

Where's that pitch?

QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jun 3, 2007 -> 01:50 PM)
when was the last time pierzysnki threw out a runner attempting a SB?

I have to think back to which season, let alone game it's been so long

Good grief, that's a strike!

Where was that pitch?

Danks has had 2 strikeouts called balls this inning. This should not be as bad a spot.

It's happening because Hawk is not around to complain about the umps.

This is no excuse for their terrible play as of late, but the Sox have been getting f***ed over by the umps pretty consistently lately.

FINALLY ump....1 out.

Big, big out.

:lolhitting

He was effectively wild on that pitch. He's got to make a few good pitches here. A double play would be quite lovely.

Throw this clown a good changeup and get another k.

0-2 pitch right down the plate....lucky he fouled it off.

Somedays I wish I could be a Pirates fan so when things go bad I could just say "BLIIIMEY" or "AAAAAAAR" or something like that.

MAKE DE UMP WALK DE PLAAAANK!

Hawk wants Erstad's booty....treasure, of course.

Oh boy, someone forgot how many outs there are.

Wow, appeal to 2nd and he's out.

Solid.

Way to pay attention, DJ.

Masset next inning no matter what, I'm guessing. Hope he locks it down and gives it to Jenks.

Are we sure that the run counts?

Hawk said to Erstad earlier when he disappeared "ARRRRRE YE ENJOYING THE MASSAGE??"

Ok, sac fly is fine.

WTF, he left early from 2nd?? 3 outs, nice!! Inning over. Run counts but we'll take it.

WTF just happened? I turned around to check something out and I turn back and the inning is over?

I love Danks.

No matter how s***ty his stuff/control is, he battles, gets big outs, and gives us a chance.

Yes, the run from 3rd scored WAY before the appeal and thus, the out since the appeal was on the runner at 2nd.
