Bringing in Mackowiak made it impossible for Pods to steal and get in scoring position. That was a situation where having an injured, usless player like Dye still on the roster hurts your flexibility.

The cubs have some actual relieft pitchers. And it is hard to win with an offense.

What are the chances after this inning that the score is still 1-1?
