He's faced 39 left hand hitters this season and a grand total of 9 have reached base, 5 on hits (2 doubles, 3 singles) and 4 via the walk. He has also K'd 10. He induces over twice as many grounders as he does fly balls (2.12) so he's also keeping the ball on the ground and not allowing hitters to lift the ball in the air.

 

So on the year lefties are putting up this line against Boone: .156/.243/.219/.462
