Whatcha Taking This Semester?

Heads, are news outlets now looking for jhournalism majors? Back when I wanted to be in Journalism the advice was learn something so you could cover it well. Economics, Politics, Biology, anything. Then work your ass off on any newspaper that would take you honing your writing craft.

 

I got hired at a paper out of high school to write, so I'd say no.

I have an entire year to get my 3 required classes out of the way. The rest of my classes are hour filler/electives. It should be a good senior year.

Thinking and Reasoning aka Philosophy (TuThF)

Psychology (MWF)

Microeconomics (TuTh)

 

Going to be a freshman.

 

Business major at IU-Bloomington.

 

I've taken all of those except Philosophy--who are your profs?

That is similiar to mine. I had to take two required classes (one was a physical activity class). Everything else I took pass/fail. It was awesome. Totally awesome.

I did a research paper on that my junior year of high school. I got an A because the teacher didn't know what I was talking about.
