Kalapse
QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 30, 2007 -> 10:53 PM) Well Richar is no Aaron Guiel you realize. Am I the only one who is blown away by the way some Sox fans talk about inexperienced rookies? I wonder what people would be saying about Chase Utley if he had started his career here. His first 86 major league ABs weren't any better than Richar's: .221/.277/.337.614.
greg775
Patience is one thing. Richar is overmatched right now. I still like Aaron Guiel. At least he played with passion.
southsideirish71
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 30, 2007 -> 10:57 PM) Am I the only one who is blown away by the way some Sox fans talk about inexperienced rookies? I wonder what people would be saying about Chase Utley if he had started his career here. His first 86 major league ABs weren't any better than Richar's: .221/.277/.337.614. The best part is that with the season so lost, this is the perfect time to let the rookies play, take their lumps, and learn against major league pitching. A luxury really, considering. Yet with have the myopic win now crowd who cant live this. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. I could care less if we win another game for the rest of the year as long as this experience can help our rookies become major leaguers to help us in the upcoming years. Maybe some of our people should take a gander at that commited salary chart you have in your sig that may shed light on the expenditures of next year. This unlimited xbox money crap is beyond me.
