September 27, 200718 yr Getting rid of Jon Garland is not necessarily a way to become a contender again. Have you noticed all the bad pitchers in baseball today? If I was a GM I would want Garland over a lot of other pitchers. It's easy to take guys you have on your team for granted. Garland is not half bad. Tell me, who do you want in the rotation next year?
