Thanks for everything Jon! I wish you well in Anaheim except versus us. You were always one of my favorites. Special thanks for 05!

I wish we could be saying good bye to Kenny Williams right now instead, but whatever.

Thanks for the memories Jon.

I wish we could be saying goodbye to overreacting.

As alluded to, the soul patch will be missed.

Eh... I won't be too disappointed considering we got Danks now and he rocks his out pretty nicely. :D

Thanks for all the solid, and a few excellent, years on the South Side. And a special thanks for that little trophy that we couldn't have gotten without you.

+1

Thanks for the memories and good luck in SoCal.

Good luck to you Jon. Thanks for everything. :drink

We need a GM who can make more Matt Karchner for Jon Garland trades.

Always liked Garland because he always answered the bell.

Can't remember him missing a start.

That's what we are going to miss -- durable workhorse.

And he's good pals with Buehrle. Wonder what HIS reaction is?

What was it, game 4 against the Angels? On 10 days rest, sinker not working at all, and he comes back and throws a complete game with nothing but his fastball?

That was Game 3, when the series was 1-1.

Some guys have overwhelming stuff and some guys just know how to pitch.

Garland certainly knew how to pitch, but more importantly, he knew how to win.

It was a pleasure, Jon Garland.

I'll miss Jon. He was my favorite player for quite a few years and his major league debut is one of the most exciting moments I can remember as a fan. I wish him nothing but luck in all of his future endeavors.

It should be noted that OC was the only Angel to touch Garland in that Game 3 game with a 2-run bomb.

Just throwing that out there.

Thanks for the memories Jon.

You do know that this deal helps us get very close to signing Hunter within the next week?

Thanks for one awesome season in 8 years man!

Thanks for 2005 Garland, it was great. Good luck in Anaheim, we know you can pitch there, especially after that game in the 05 playoffs.

Love this thread.

Thanks, thanks, thanks for your excellence and the WS title.

And thanks for bringing us so much return in a trade ... NOT thanks to KW.
