What I read somewhere at this isn't really a 'mental problem', per se, but it's more the Paul Konerko syndrome of being waaaaay too hard on yourself when things aren't going your way. He's a guy that presses too hard, if that makes any sense...

Not that I am in any way comparing them (though both being from Stanford is a little weird), but isn't that also somewhat similar to Joe Borchard too?

I was afraid they were going to trade Chris Carter. There goes my favorite sox prospect. At least its not for Coco Crisp. I'm not very familiar with Quentin offhand, but I hate to see Carter go.

Except that Quentin recognized it and is doing something about it...Borchard didn't.

chris carter sounds like a very good prospect but quentin's abilities can not be denied and from what i hear, he's a BEAST in the field. let him start every day in LF and eventually take over for Dye in RF where he will be perfect IMO.
