Two interesting notes from Cowley in the pregame:

 

- Owens will be leading off and starting in CF when he comes off the DL.

- A player in the majors said that when he looked into Gavin Floyd's eyes, he thought that he was a deer in the headlights. Anyone want to guess who said that?
