wow horrendous throw by cabrera...a decent throw gets him by 10 feet

The ball never made it home, Jones was safe no matter the throw.

Thomas with an IF hit up the middle. 1st and 3rd for Polanco.

We're just a bad defensive team.

The sooner Ozzie figures out two things, the better off the Sox will be:

1. Gavin Floyd is not a good pitcher, and never will be.

2. Nick Swisher is not a center fielder.

Avoided disaster there.

Disappointing, cause Gavin doesn't look that bad.

Ozuna shows why he isn't a good fielder and Cabrera throwing like grandpa gums.

Polanco grounds to Cabrera who steps on 2nd to end the inning. 1-0 Tiggers, heading to the 3rd.

Swisher did a great job on that double by Inge.

That s***ty relay had nothing to do with Swisher. He cut that ball off in plenty of time and got it to Cabrera. It isn't his fault he air mailed it like a JV player.

Quentin has too much potential to let sit though.

Oh, I bet we are going to see some more swining at pitches out of the zone this inning.

Its ONLY the 5th f***ing game!!!

Floyd has been better than Contreras so far, and Swisher has done nothing wrong, Quentin would be no better in center.

Are you watching this game?

Yes. What is your point? That Floyd had a good inning or two? The guy is terrible. Period. I want to be optimistic just like everyone else, but there is just no question in my mind. We'll talk about it later in the season and see how it turns out.

How do you airmail a throw if you never make it home?

Some of these posts are ridiculous. NO THROW was going to get Jones at home. Swisher cut that ball off PERFECTLY, and Floyd doesn't look bad at all.

Pablo with the patient approach!

Agreed, Quentin is no CF. I'm talking about Anderson. He should be in there.

Ozuna lines out to Polanco at 2nd. 1 dead for Toby Hall.

Just try to relax and enjoy watching the games. Unless you were expecting this team to win 120 games, you had to know there'd be some weaknesses.

Cabrera airmailed it. A good throw would have had Jones out. Are you even watching the game?

Well, it was 3 whole pitches, one of the better ABs we've seen all afternoon... lol
