one last thing, Grilli suposedly only sucks at home. he's able to keep his job because of the way he pitches on the road.

i think i'm going to save my self some time and turn this one off. i think i'll go beat the tigers' behinds on xbox 360 while consuming some alcoholic beverages...that will make me feel better about the Sox not showing up at the ballpark tonight.

I'd assume the Tigers are better on XBox than in 2008.

hitting him in the elbow with a pitch does solve the problem of him getting a base hit

At least Toby Hall is here for his arm...

Hey Hawk? Where was that pitch? That was more than a foot inside.

Speaking of xbox 360 games, what mlb game should I get this year??

2k8 looks good but it isn't as good as a lot of past baseball games on different system. heck ken griffey jr's baseball on N64 is better. 2k8 has a monopoly on the baseball games since it is the only "officially liscensed" product. EA had waaay better baseball games. save yourself the cash. i'm playing last year's version which isn't much better.

This umpire should never get to officiate another game. That call on Ordonez might be the worst in years.

Anyone remember Jerry from Little Big League? The young manager knew the veteran's time was done when everyone went nuts when he had a seeing-eyed single. Reminds me of Toby.

they are but it's easy to get like 20 k's a game.

You'll get Donny Lucy in 2009, unless he flubs in AAA. At least that will be a defensive upgrade.

That's game over. This game really shows how weak this team can be.

OK, NOW you can probably walk away from this game for the evening.

No reason to think we're gonna remember how to hit against the Tigers, AND Ozzie is gonna go ahead and see if we can use all the pen tonight as well.

This game sucks. Dotel is supposed to be good right?

Extremely disappointing game. We always face an uphill battle tomorrow, hopefully our big boys can get going.

im watching gameday here and it looks like dotel is going to eat all of reinsdorf's money this year. he doesn't look inspired out on the mound.

somehow Cabrera looked still unbelievably talented just bobbling that ball after the catch

He'll be a decent 7th inning guy. He's better than what we had last year.

How do you come up with that by just watching gameday? Does it say that after a pitch or in the box score?

Yes. In a circus he would be very talented.

Nice cleats Dotel. They look like Walter's Roo's.........

Maybe his picture is bad?

I guess the real Sox team decided to show up eh?

Tuesday's day off killed this team's energy.

That and giving days off to people who have had 2 days off this week is another pisser.

Have to make sure that Hall makes it into the lineup enough. Its not like AJ caught 5 games this week. Swisher is out for what. To rest him from the day off he had yesterday. Or the game he came out of early on Wednesday.

The bullpen isn't really something we should be concerned with first and foremost...

We have a 2-3-4 that has been pretty uninspiring at the plate, and thats a lot of money for very little production right now
