Well regardless of how shaky it was, Contreras did exactly what he was supposed to so far, keep us in the game and have a halfway decent start.

Thome and Konerko have. I have no problem with Dye. He's started out pretty well. Paulie's the one I'm growing tired of pretty quick in terms of his plate production.

Hawk is an idiot. I've had my tv on mute for half this game I'm so tired of listening to those 2. It's like being down at goddamn Floyd's Barber shop in the 50's listening to those boneheads.

It really wasn't that shaky. He looked much improved over last outing. Had himself a few 1-2-3 innings. Looked ok. One bad inning got him.

We really should look to trade him if not in contention at the deadline.

 

Barring injuries, I can not see too many teams looking for slow, past their prime, .270-ish hitting DH's.

i understand he's a color commentator but he is a friggin goofball and becomes extremely annoying when the calls are not going chicago's way. plus, it's not like he was ever a great player but he's got an ego like he was. anyways...on to the sox game.
