you ever wonder if players coming to a team full of thumpers like the sox don't get into the habit of swinging bigger? Looks like ocab and on occasion, swisher, do that. I even wonder if Anderson didn't catch that bug when he came up.

haha alright

2 runners on, no outs, I don't want to see Jenks in this game so let's get more runs.

the Sox are gettin some steals today, 3 I believe.

OC steals 3rd, i like the fire this team seems to have today, that win last night couldn't have been bigger for this team

bases juiced for AJ, i'd rather see Quentin up in this situation, maybe we will though

Double play, then a flyout, no runs cross. *crosses fingers* I hope I'm wrong.

he's gonna come back inside AJ

aj, cant you take a slider instead of swinging at every one of them? sheesh..

Ugh, terrible AB by AJP. Aquino threw 9 balls out of the zone that at bat.

That was a nasty slider to strike him out. Looked fast ball all the way and just dropped.

CQ is such a magnet, plus he has a close stance.

19 RBI's for Carlos, his last two were HBP's with the bases juiced. Meanwhile, his OBP is just climbing to astronomical levels, and he's now hitting .288

How many HBP RBIs does Carlos have? 3? 4?

Jeez. Quentin getting drilled a lot.

At least if the other team commits errors, walks us, and beans us, we should be pretty good this year.

Phew, I was wrong. Come OOOOON BA!

Oops, ARam is up first.

the pitches he's been hit by aren't even close to being over the plate, they're right into the middle of his back, nothing to do with his stance or how close he stands to the plate (which isn't all that close, really)

they were just wild pitches that sail right into him

Good thing Ramirez has good speed.

at the begning of the year he was hit in the elbow a couple of times because of his stance

BA had a crappy game at the plate to follow up yesterday. Not good.

Ramirez clearly doesn't belong in the Majors right now. He really needs work down in AAA. What's Richar doing these days?

I wouldn't really call it crappy. He didn't strike out, and he was credited with a single and an RBI. But he didn't really capitalize either.

Good day for scoreboard watching. Cleveland loses, KC losing by 3 in 9th, Minnesota getting stomped, Detroit tonight. Just gotta hold on.

Something about this game says "Winning Ugly".
