Carlos Quentin = All Star

He is my favorite hitter from an approach and talent point.

DJ: "c'mon Big Jim! Run into one right here."

If he means getting hit by a pitch, I'll take it!

How has Dennys Reyes not allowed a run this year?

My goodness, in Reyes's Gameday photo, it looks like his cheeks ate his eyes.

Thome walks. Can PK actually get an RBI? Neshak coming in.

I'm calling it. Paulie is going to pretend Neshek is Chad Qualls.

Thome this year:

vs right: .190/.347/.342/.689 in 79 AB

vs. left: .265/.324/.618/.942 in 34 AB

Who knew?

wow, that must be a case of him looking so god awful against a couple of LHP that it stuck with me, because I would think Lefties owned him this year

Twins are turning into the Sox!

The Cell's legendary swirling winds save Konerko an at bat.

EDIT: Just got him one extra pitch to make an out. Blah.

PK with a pop up but Morneau didn't make the play. PK with an extra chance.

Who was the pitcher they called "El Guapo". I think he pitched for the Pirates then the Red Sox. That guy made David Wells look skinny

Moreanu misplay keeps Konerko from looking really really bad

give him a second, wait a minute

here it comes

Soft line out to short. He see 2 pitches and swings at both.

wow, Neshak with a 4.26 ERA, I know ERA isn't the greatest stat to judge a reliever by, even so, I'm suprised it is so high

The problem with those numbers is still sample size. Specifically...he's had 34 AB's against lefties...which means that the 2 bombs he hit on opening day off of captain cheeseburger are dominating the lefty numbers.

Konerko needs to sit for a day or two and if his hand is injured he needs a stay on the DL he serves no purpose at all right now.

Rich Garces

I'm not sure about the Brink here. The Sox are paying him huge $$$ to pitch the 8th. Hopefully he earns it.

Rich Garces...kind of looks similar

I dont understand how PK still get praise here...this guy should be gone long time ago.

Yep, Linebrink's in the game. Just a terrible decision by Ozzie, no matter what happens.
