Like Jose yesterday, Javy's got nothin'.

He seems to have pitched much better than his near 4 ERA this season would dictate.

Agree, yet last two starts he hasn't been himself.

Thank you Joe!!!!!! Great grab into the dugout.....

man this season is utterly rediculous. isnt it amazing how you dont have to be great to win championships anymore. as long as you are not worse than your opponent and you got a shot. the NBA championships are pure evidence of that. i am assuming that Jim Thome will be the MVP of the world series at this rate.

I would ok with that.

If Sox go on to lose this game, tomorrow's game might be the biggest game of the season so far.

It's not really that. Tigers are straight working him. Something we're just not doing. Verlander's thrown about half the pitches Javy has.

That and our hitters aren't doing jack s*** at the plate....

I'm gonna go jump in my pool and do something constructive......

Only 2 hits so far vs Verlander, and it looks like he might go complete game.

I sure as hell don't see anything constructive coming.

Nah, we have played dumb baseball the past two games.

We've done a good job in these situations lately at least getting the tying run to the plate.

Somehow Javy's managed 7 strikeouts.

12 outs made in the air tonight

Nice Brian.

Good job BA

Some pretty ugly at bats tonight. Thankfully, we're back home in a few days (can anyone confirm we'll be facing Francis, Hirsh, and Cook).

Rockies website has Francis, TBA, and Cook.

Of course we can't get Glendon Rusch!

Possible good news for the Sox....Soriano just got hit in the hand, hopefully it's broke or effects him for the next few weeks when we play them 6 times

I've got Francis, Cook and Jimenez.

Sox starting pitching had not looked good the last 3 games. Time to get Vazquez out of there, and preserve his arm.

Meanwhile, Tigers get another run.

He just needs one more out... but he's facing the heart of the order.

The way this series looked so far, I sure as hell hope we're not in for a sweep.
