Im sure its going to be hard to stray away from entertainment but I wonder if were overlooking some other types of lists. Why dont a few of us do a search of lists like these online for ideas?

 

Best movies would be interesting but tricky.

I like SS's idea American Rock Bands, great focus. Although the winner may be on only half or less of the lists.

Sox players by position, turn in a list one person per position plus a lefty and righty, middle relief and closer, toss in a manager and owner

 

We've never talked about what makes a fun list to do. I think that most of the top 5 should be on the majority of lists. Having 14/18 and 17/18 type means there is some legitimacy to the ranking. If the winner is on 5/18 and 40-15 are on one or two, not as much.

 

Which is why, in this format, hot chick would not work as well as a single elimination tourny
