Indians vs. White Sox 7:11 CSN

Seems like Lee's getting most of his outs on his change-up, and that's after getting ahead in the count with his fastball.

I smell a hit from BA.

Holy canoli, BA.

Keep scraping together base hits like that.

Should have predicted a homer

he's right though!

Yeah well I thought he was going to say something about how Lee pitches rather than throws, but that's not what happened.

Nice. Still, I can't think of the last time where I've seen Brian back to back at bats where he attempts to shoot a ball opposite field (and that right now is what I think his problem is, he just gets way too pull happy). Mechanically his swing is much improved, still not great, but I think he's to a point that if he improves his approach he will be a successful big leaguer.

All that said, its hard for him to get the timing down with limited playing time (especially for a player with as mechanical of a swing as Brian).

Perfect time for a hit and run or stolen base with that 3-1 count. Why not put BA in motion with 2 outs and the top of the order up.

1-1

You shouldn't worry about Paulie, he's about as good a throwing 1st baseman as there is in baseball. Now Frank Thomas, one of the worse arms I've ever seen on a professional baseball player.

Paulie had some horrific days on the field a while back...and it messed with his head. He was short-arming balls...trying to aim them...you could just tell he lost some confidence in his D there for a while. Geez-us...I still recall that one throw that should have gone 90 feet to AJ...it went about 70.

Ugh...Danks started to lose his mechanics last inning, and now he hangs the first pitch to Shoppach. Might want to get Dotel up in the pen in case Danks starts to lose it.

This has been the best I've seen Danks pitch all season, imo. I'll probably jinx it, but he's looked phenomenal. More importantly, he's had much better command and is actually in a spot where he can go deep into this ball game. He'll have to hold tight given who he's pitching against and the offense will have to find a way to deliver.

Shoppach....are you s***tin' me?!?

Clearly I've done some jinxing, 4 pitch walk and not to the right guy either cause Sizemore should be able to steal with ease. Hopefully Carrol hits into a DP on the first pitch.

Not good...hopefully he can stay composed on the mound instead of falling off violently like he did in the Sizemore AB.

That looked like a balk.

Great pickoff move by Danks!

Good recovery by Danks...time for the offense to wake up tonight.

That inning changed real fast after the pickoff. Get the run back.

nice work AJP

Great AB for AJ. Base hit.

Way to get us started AJ!

Basehit for CQ. Another nice AB.

Another fantastic swing by CQ on a 3-2 pitch.

NICE CQ.

JD. A nice double... or dare I say it a park job would suffice right now.
