Not for lack of solid contact at least.

I know, I know. I'm shocked by the lack of power Crede has to dead center these days. That's 2 this week I thought were gone, and they weren't really close.

Are you kidding me Javy? What a terrible 1-2 pitch. I'm so f***ing sick of him getting burned on that fastball that tails right over the plate.

Take your pick, it's that, or the flat-slider that Cust hit out.

I can't believe we actually decided to play Uribe against a guy with some of the best offspeed stuff in all of baseball.

Damn, nothing going right since the first inning.

That wall crunch just knocked .3 prospects out of our past deal with Oakland.

Javy's almost the most maddening in the sense that he rarely totally loses it. Just spurts of badness, but the spurts always happen several times per game.

I feel like if he doesn't get a call he acts like a b**** and then starts pitching like crap. That and his standard 6th inning meltdowns. Luckily he doesn't do that as often anymore.

Could use a bailout here Q.

The Sox have hit some absolute rockets tonight, and have little to show for it. The A's have hit one ball hard all night, and lead.

We've hit some balls pretty hard. Just right at people. Not too upset about the way we're swinging against this guy. We were bound to have a game like this.

Gameday has an ad in the corner for the Yankees Red Sox series. Seriously? I hate how over-hyped that series gets. Its not even a battle for first in that division. Also we need to work this guy a little and get to the A's pen before they hand it over to Street.

Time for Jimmy to go yard.

Time for Crede to earn that clutch monicker.

Taking bets here on a popup......

Do something clutch Crede. A double would work just fine.

Crede is due for a bloop

Seriously, look to left, flare to right.

or a blast.

i like when Hawk mentions 'the sweet meat'

Terrible...his swing is so f***ing long. I might punch the next person who says he should make the all-star game.

f***ing Crede and his clutch popups to the 2nd baseman.

Nothing, how solid is Oakland's bullpen? I give Duscherer one more inning.

Andrew Brown will likely be their 8th inning man tonight, and he's been spectacular this season. Brad Ziegler has been the best reliever in baseball this season.
