Taking bets here on a popup......

Shocker!

Does anybody else get the feeling that Joe uses too heavy a bat and doesn't have the control with it like he should. His swing is just atrocious...almost like he has to muster all this momentum to get the head going.......

I get the feeling his back condition is more serious than they're letting on. Since he's returned from the injury, he's had absolutely no bat speed.

beginning of the year I think he had some decent bat speed. He just seems to be worn down. Still makes some great plays on the field. It seems like the dude should be batting around .220 or so....

Damn, Javy looked plain nasty first few innings, I thought we had this game in our pocket.

Hopefully Swisher does something positive. Ramirez and Uribe have little chance with Duke, so maybe we can get Ramirez in a situation where he can bunt.

I bet you're right....

Awful game for the bottom of our order. Shame on the Sox for starting Uribe tonight though against this stuff.

CQ in the first, Crede and Swisher in the 4th, Wise in the 5th, AJP in the 6th, and Ramirez in the 7th.

I'm glad we decided to see 5 pitches from this guy. Despite how good their bullpen I'd just love to see someone else on the mound, for a change of pace.

I have a feeling Javy is going to give up a HR if he isn't taken out soon.

Well, Javy Jelped out the bullpen a lot with that inning.

This was the best stuff Javy's had all year....it's too bad we're in position to lose when you take that into account along with our offensive start in the 1st.

Watch Ozzie pinch hit Anderson for Wise here despite all the numbers that say "Don't do that!"

Glad I was wrong. Also I'm surprised they took out Duchsherererer.

I'd rather see Anderson, just for the threat of the long ball.

That a boy AJ, great swing! We'll see the nasty side-armer now.

Atta boy AJ

Nope, we'll see Street. Last time he faced Quentin, he made him look absolutely foolish.

I like this matchup....Q vs Street.

All fields AJ gets another double. I like him a lot better than Mr. Power AJ we originally picked up.

Q is overdue...

Hope he doesn't give up looking the other way.

Lets see the April-May CQ here.
