If you're fine bailing out people who purposefully (or negligently) f*** up and lose everything and the only thing that matters is the economics, than you might as well get rid of the bankruptcy system and step in and pay for the employees of poorly run businesses to keep their jobs and for the businesses to continue operation because their net effect is probably more than the cost of helping them out. According to Balta, bailing out GM was actually a net positive, so why not extend that logic to every business? Why not pay off my student loans so I have more money to spend in other parts of the economy (which will eventually make more than the cost of paying off my loans)?

 

That doesn't flow from "the economy is not a moral reward/punishment system."

 

I'd rather the Fed Reserve send you checks to pay down your student loans and mortgages than to send checks to banks to buy MBS's. Indefinitely? No, but until we actually recover and get to full employment.

We always hear how smart he supposedly is yet never offered any proof. I wan to know what grades he supposedly earned and in what classes he took. I heard he is stupid and got F's. Most of them since the 1980. Obama, Kerry, Gore, Bush, (hillary) Clinton in the primaries, (Bill) Clinton, Bush Sr., Dukakis etc.

 

He has not released 10 years of tax returns. He released a letter that summarized their taxes in the most flattering way possible. In a campaign that is at least partially about future taxation plans and what rates different income classes should pay, it's at least somewhat relevant. I'm not sure under what scenario Obama's college grades are ever relevant.

One of George W.'s Yale transcripts was published by who knows who and how they got it sometime around 2004.

Here's the real problem. Tell me how this is inaccurate:

We all know the reason transcripts aren't released. By BARRY's OWN ADMISSION he was a drug addicted flunky in high school. Yet he got into what was at the time a prestigious school. Then, while being a self professed cocaine user, he kept moving on to Ivy League schools. Yea, I bet it was good grades. LOL.

 

The guy got in as a foreign exchange student. I suppose that makes me a birther, right? No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying either he bucked the system and got in as an exchange student, which if he's American, it was a lie. Or, he's really a foreigner, which is worse because now he's got a constitutional issue. Personally, I think it was the first option, but that's a pretty big whopper to have to explain, isn't it? OH, but we'll never know, because while every f***ing ® has to release everything, the (D) has a very personal life to protect.
