Hawk can't read or someone gave him bad info, 3-2 DET. and Q with a blast.

I went to get some beer and its 2-0 Sox awesome!

Damn, that missed by a few feet. We need to keep scoring today.

That is classic CQ right there. He lets the pitch get deep and than BAMMM. Either way, we'll probably need about 10 more runs with Count on the mound in Texas

So Thome already has a double today. Lets say in his next 3 ABs he goes 2-3 with a HR and a single. And finishes the day 3-4 w/ HR, 2B, 1B. That would push his OBP to .379 and his SLG to .521 which would put his OPS at .900 for the first half of the 2008 season.

We might need 3 runs every inning the was Contreras has pitched his last 4 games.

How much you wanna bet Todd Jones blows the one-run lead to the Twins today? However, he doesn't have to face the M&M's. He is a horrible closer, but Detroit doens't have too many other options b/c Zumaya has a high-ass WHIP.

HAHA Hawk

"(somber) That's the worst I've ever seen AJ react to pain.....(upbeat) BUT we're up 3-0"

That was a weird transition.

Leadoff double given up by Contreras. He's already dropping down way too much.

Don't feel like watching Jose pitch today so will probably be flipping thru other games when Texas bats.

Jose dropping down si just bad because he only throws a fastball when he drops down. Plus, the more he drops down, the more its a sign that he's fatigued and his velocity is down. Man, I hope somehow KW shocks me and has the guts to deal Jose and finds another starter to plug into the rotation.

WTF, I haven't checked the scores yet today, and Hawk said the Tigers were up 13-2.

Asshole, it was 3-2.

Make it 4-2

Nice forkball by Jose. He needs to make that his main pitch today.

I never like watching Jose pitch. The only time it was okay was when he was on his dominant role and thats because he wasnt putting base-runners on. He falls behind batters, is horrifcly slow and is just the epitome of the type of pitcher I can't stand watching (ie, ones that pitch slow). I'm a huge fan of the Buehrle/Maddux of the world.

In other retarded news, Marmol replaced Wood on the NL all star team. hahahah terrible

On the other hand, at least he was wrong in declaring Hamilton's as a base hit in the 9th last night.

Oh man, thought that was gone.

Good stuff.

Kudos to Jim for bouncing back the way he has. We need him.

Agreed. Thome has really been playing well. Keep making me look dumb Jimmy, keep making me look dumb :)

And of course, Contreras can't get the Sox out of the inning.
