BTW, in the 13 games that our bullpen has pitched since that Sunday Night game with Morgan, our bullpen has allowed a run.

Nope, but feel free to start a thread about it.

A chance to be out of 1st, a chance to lose 2/3 to the awful Royals, and then the Rangers come to town, and knowing our luck, they'll score 3 tomorrow only to come here for Mon.-Wed. and score 43 runs in 3 games.

Does anybody get the sense that tomorrow is a must win now?

Definitely. If they lose tomorrow and Minnesota wins, the Sox will be 0.5 games out with only 65 to play. No way can they make that up. KW should be selling parts at the deadline and calling up half of Charlotte's roster to get some experience.

Double play here please.

If the Twins continue to win 75 pct of their games, it's just a matter of time before they're in first place. Right now, you just have to tip your cap to them. The Sox's bullpen, starters, and defense is killing them right now.

We aren't losing tomorrow with our ace on the hill.

Fair enough. All I wanted was an answer. Finally I got one. I didn't need a couple smart remarks.

If it makes you feel better, Cubs fans are in a full state of panic right now.

We got our butt kicked by the Royals tonight.

As many times as we play these teams, we're going to lose some to them. I think this is our first loss in The Cell to these stiffs this year. I wish we could go 18-1 versus KC but it ain't gonna happen (assuming we play them 19 times; I think that's it). It would be nice to win every series we play against them, though.

This is a fantastic post.

Every time the offense does not show up to play, I'm going to rant.

I would like to see either Jenks or Linebrink get a couple of batters tonight.

I feel for the fans at the Cell tonight. Yuk.

Something tells me that there is a plane ticket to Charlotte with Adam Russell's name on it waiting for him in the clubhouse.

If they aren't going to use Linebrink, we may as well send him down.

Since the first inning yesterday, our bats have fallen asleep again.

Ouch.

Terrible ending with Dye there to a terrible game.

What happened?

What happened?

Dye got hit by a pitch on the outside part of his left knee.

Hope all the fans go do something fun after that bloodbath. Go downtown and get drunk and forget they made the trip to the Cell. Everything went to hell after Joe's error. Not saying that was the difference in a game we got 2 hits though.
