Wow what a HUGE win.

3.5 and 6.5 !!! YES!

How clutch both Carlos and Jermaine, 2 out hits.

Ozzie is a genius.

1. Put in Masset so he can seemingly blow the game.

2. Watch JD break Detroits heart

3. Bobby shuts it down 1-2-3

4. Detroit demoralized for the next 2 games

Big time win!! Win or Dye trying!!!

Jenks looked real good.

Kept the big boys fresh for the next games if needed. Sometimes you just have to throw out the b team and let them pitch.

Best win of the year

BAR NONE

Never underestimate the badness of the Tiger's bullpen.

Just wait until we stop playing bad and giving runs away

And nice job managing-both tonite and Wednesday

Maybe tomorrow we'll play defense.

Floyd wasn't great, but he didn't let it get away.

3-1/2 up now, let's pad that lead even more this weekend! :notworthy

It's games like this one that have kept me a Chicago White Sox fan, for more than 44 years now......... :usa

Like I said in the game thread. THE biggest win for the White Sox since Octover 26, 2005.

4 game lead over the Twins and 7 over the Tigers in the loss column.

What a game, what a win!!!

And its about damn time we hit Todd Jones and his Joe Borowski-type junk...

Hand on throat, now strangle that f***in tiger to death.

Bad error, but not a bad offensive night for Fields.

Dont want to see anyone get hurt but I think I just saw that Carlos Gomez was carted off the field.

The walk was good to see. Didn't help the pitcher out, and he started that 3 run 7th with a base hit up the middle if I'm not mistaken.

Nice movement on Carrasco's pitches tonight as well, and he got a 'W' he deserves.

Bobby had Granderson and Polanco confused with the early count curveballs, the sequence to Granderson (Fast, curve, fast, curve) had him all over the place.

they will find someone else in that system to mash till he comes back.

Buster Olney mentioned on Mike and Mike this morning that the Tigers are on the fence on whether to be buyers or sellers at the deadline since if they lose the next 3 games they'd be 9 games out of the playoffs in the loss column. I don't totally buy what Buster is selling but the thought of ending the Tigger's season in late July makes me feel all warm and fuzzy in side.

wow, what a great win.
