Zumaya in the 9th will be a challenge for the Sox, but this at-bat is huge. You really need Alexei to get on because you cannot have Uribe leading off the 9th. I would Alexei gets on and maybe pinch Wise, but then you have Fields at third for the 9th, but more importantly, you CANNOT have Uribe lead off the 9th. Zumaya has great stuff, but he doesn't hit the strike zone, you need to take 1 maybe 2 pitches against him.

speaking of rings... how awesome would it be if we could get Griffey and Thome, two of the best players (on and off the field) to play the game in the past 20 years, their first ever world series rings in the same year?
