Yeah, but his numbers in July not so good. 7.88 ERA in his last three starts, Sox lost two of those.

I imagine the fact that those two played the whole game yesterday while Konerko did not may have something to do with it.

PK is 3-24 with no extra base hits in his career agaisnt Verlander. Meanwhile, AJP is 11 for 32 with 3 homers in his career against Verlander.

14, meanwhile he has 11 hits out of 32 chances against Verlander. This is a stupid line-up versus a guy that we usually have on a leash. Hopefully we don't let him off it.
