What do you wear to games?

Featured Replies

Let me go on record as saying I hate replica jerseys and the t-shirt jerseys.

I go with authentics or throwbacks

Full Cubs uniform and I go around chanting Woo.

I think I'm done with the jersey thing.

I have authentic Ordonez, Rowand and Crede jerseys, and it looks as though Crede will join the others in becoming collectors' items after this season.

Anwyay, I usually wear the Crede black alternate or a Sox T-shirt to the games now.

Home replica Dye jersey with one of my Sox hats, either the normal one, the one with the World Series logo, or the one with the World Series champs logo.

I think you would be safe in still wearing the Rowand jersey. He still is practically a god around these parts.

If that's Ivan Claderon, you are my hero!!! :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

It is!! He was one of my faves growing up. The funny think is only a few people say anything when I wear it.

I wore the Dent to the Red Sox games, the older RSox fans were pissed. Is that a Bucky F....kin Dent jersey!!! :lolhitting

Agreed. The 'jersey t-shirt' isn't any sort of jersey. It's a shirt, and it's weak sauce.

Also, wearing your name and an off the wall number on a jersey is beyond pointless.

So you are saying that Lostfan and Steve9347 are beyond pointless then. Nice.

Authentic Black Ozzie jersey with the 2005 world series patch (not the one that says "champions"). Still well worth the money.

On a somewhat similar topic, does anybody know if grandstand is selling John Danks jersey's now?

Pair of jeans and no shirt, in case I want a piece of a 1st base coach.

You too? That's crazy. We should meet up before the game and finish a bottle of whiskey sometime.

Why not replicas?

I rotate.

Buehrle Pinstripe 05 WS jersey

Crede Pinstripe -5 WS jersey

Guillen Black Spring training Jersey (number only)

Usually my Authentic Jenks jersey and the game hat. If not my Jenks jersey than either my authentic Garcia or authentic Marte jersey's.

Allow me to shamefully plug this audio from our podcast about "The Ligue Manifesto"

Does anyone have much experience with jerseys from ebay?

I disagree with this.

I'd much rather wear my nickname and number than another guy's name.

Personal preference, to be sure, and I only own two personalized jerseys (Hawks home and Bruins road).

Customized sweatshirt. I have 42 White Sox Topps baseball cards printed on my sweatshirt. What I did was scan 42 of my all time favorite Topps White Sox baseball cards from 1959 to 2005, reversed the image, and then printed them out on iron-on transfer sheets. After I ironed them on one-by one, I put a clear coat on them for extra protection.

Why not replicas?

The material is cheap and the lettering on the back is UGLY. 1 layered lettering?

An uthentic might cost twice as much, but it looks a hell of a lot better and it feels better.

I have some replicas because authentics are too expensive.

My AJ away replica and my away replica that has CHAMPS 05 on the back is with the authentic lettering. That 1 black layer is downright ugly.

If I wear a Sox shirt it's a Cooperstown Fisk jersey.

Sometimes I wear my authentic A's Zito, Jays Halladay or Braves Maddux. Usually I don't wear anything baseball-related and just dress up casually.

Authentic black Carlos Quentin jersey with my Dublin BlackSox fitted hat. I used to wear my White w/ pinstripe Konerko one, but why even both when I got my Q-uperman one!

And I also bring my Q-uperman sign with me. You may have seen me with it before, it's pretty damn popular every game I go to.

I've got an authentic road jersey with CHAMPIONS 05 on it.
