Without a little more than three weeks left in the season, every game the Twins win at home and don't gain ground is a fantastic day. I know that seems incredibly obvious, and it is, but with a 1.5 game lead, and the Sox having one more game at home than the Twins do, it's a big deal.

I think he should be up right now, but it's pretty clear the Sox don't trust his off-speed stuff right now, which is understandable. If the Sox thought he could help this team out right now, he would be up. I don't buy the "clock" argument at all.
