Swisher was toast once he hit 0-2.

Swisher is toast if he's ever 0-1. He's hitting .159 with a .433 OPS on at bats where he was down 0-1 this year.

I think Thome and AJ stepping up in the first combined with MB finding a groove might well have helped more.
