It's likely those games would never be played. If they were played, you'd have to give the advantage to the team that has a reason to win instead of a bunch of guys who have their bags packed for the next morning.

This team has a nice chance here as the Tigers should really not care about these games while the Sox have everything to get up for. Yet Vazquez really seems to be the only guy really jazzed up.

How do you gauge if the hitters are jazzed up ? Do hits equal jazzy ?

Verlander is throwing a lot of changeups to our hitters. He must of read the scouting report.

It's a joke. This team needs to MAN UP and perform for Javy. He's been turning in nothing but good starts for the last 4-6 weeks and I get the feeling our teams puss__y has been hurting it seems.

Ridiculous. And this is most likely why this team won't make the playoffs. Weak.

Damn Griffey missed a homer by a few feet. He thought it was gone.

Griff!

Fastball, crushed. That should end the fastballs to our hitters.

It is always funny to me when people say a team or player doesn't look into things. How are they suppose to look? I love the press conference with Bobby Knight explaining he has no clue what a game face is.

How about actually coming through with RISP Swish

Ken Griffey, Jr.

The future is now.

I think Jr thought he got it all.

Nope, of course not

i'm tired of swisher

Swisher is a worthless hitter this year.

Swisher is GARBAGE.

Oh wait, he had a bases empty walk earlier.

He's ok.

WTG Swish

Swisher just overmatched in his at bat. Does he ever try to just get a single instead of always swinging out of his ass?

i love you uribe, 1-0!

YES!

That a boy Uribe!!!

Swish, like OC, has a better swing when he tries to go the other way.

Juany!

Nice, good piece of hitting by Uribe. 1-0 Sox

Good clutchness Juannie !

Ah a single line drive. Maybe the hitters should take note, that in fact people can score without the firewalls going off.

Wow, OC had to of missed the H&R
