What excuse will you use tomorrow....

I just had the conversation with my boss confirming that I will be leaving at noon today. It was kind of funny cause my boss is not a baseball fan. He's actually not even a sports fan. He's a cool guy though. So I'm like "Yeah so I was thinking about taking off a little early today." He's like "Oh ok what time?" I'm like "12:00." I then proceed to tell him all about how if the Sox win today if forces a one game playoff tomorrow which if they won would send them to the playoffs. But if they lost today the season is over, so it's kind of a big deal.

He was then like "Whatever dude, have fun."

As I finished typing this I looked out the window. It's raining pretty hard. I hope this thing deosn't get delayed.

I figure if they win I'll take off early tomorrow, if they lose I'll be happy I didn't watch it.

This is my approach as well. I have to work today, but I have class tomorrow night. Skipping class isn't as bad as skipping work.

Off work days for me today and Tuesday, i'll be watching on ESPN2.........

How's the weather in Chi-Town? Heard that it's raining........

There's a reason I have a radio in my office...

How do I find out if this game is going to start on time?
