Get us started BA.

Mark makes Longoria look silly reaching and weakly hitting to 2b.

End of 1

Sox 2

Rays 0

Take notes, Javy.

Guys, OC has spent a few years playing against Crawford when he was in BOS. I'm sure he knows how to judge his speed.

He played for Boston for like 2 months.

LETS WIN THIS ONE!

:headbang

I feel some much better with Buehrle pitching rather than Vazquez

If they give Longoria a chance to tie this game they are idiots.

Longoria is not Pujols, not Manny, not A-Rod... he isnt an unstoppable force atleast not yet. Obviously you dont throw him meatballs like Vazquez but I have no problem attacking him.

Hoping I don't jinx it, but this game has a real good vibe.

It's because we have someone with some testicles on the mound

Mark does what Mark does....I love that guy. I still want to give him more to work with, but Tampa Bay will have to work to scratch 3 runs off THIS CHAMPION.

OC turned into a Cub infielder. You don't barehand that, period.

alright lets put some more on Kazmir. keep that good approach and work that count!

Amen..the deification of Longoria should stop. He was a .270 hitter this year. The kid has a world of talent, but we need to go after him...he has proven nothing other than he can take a BP pitcher yard.

Wasn't Cabrera in Boston for like 3 months?

Theres a difference between going after a player and making sure that your careful and dont make bad pitches.

With Mark on the mound you can easily try and pitch around Longoria to get to the next player because Mark has that type of control.

cmon BA.

I must say, I like tonight's lineup VERY much compared to what we've been running out there for a while...

come on brian

Sox badger with all due respect you are wrong. There was a man on first base. You have to try to retire Longoria with your best stuff. If he hits it out, fine.

full count - nice BA

I really like Brians approach this year. He's so much better than 2006.

BA files out with the count full.

Damn, I thought Anderson might have got that. Quality AB, at least.

I disagree with that completely.

No one else in the Rays line up scares me at all, the only player I refuse to let beat the Sox is Longoria.

screw it, harold's right
