Alright, the wife and I are heading to Vegas for our 2nd Anniversary. We are staying mid-strip (recently renovated Mirage) and I was curious if anyone had some recommendations for bars/clubs to hit up.

 

We're 25, so open to anything (other than swinger's clubs you assholes, lol), and we want to really experience the "musts" of Las Vegas.

 

Money isn't much of a concern, and we don't want to hit up things we can do here (ie Second City and ESPN Zone)... we have tickets for a Cirque show and are going to the fake Italy area for dinner, so you needn't recommend those. Anyone have a review of the Pussycat Dolls club? I'm not goin gto kid myself that I'm cool enough and I don't want my wife to flash a boob so we're not going to worry about the Playboy Club, haha. So anyway, let me know what you guys recommend!

I want specific answers to my situation though!

Ghost bar is a cool place to have drinks. A loungy atmosphere and it's on the roof of the Palms. Awesome views of the strip and good people watching.

If you like clubs, Tao is pretty good. Pure is also real good. I went to one at the Wynn, I cant remember what it was, bottle service was good and it was full of chicks (just tell your wife to go home early)

I know they have a newer (about a year) club at Luxor called "LAX" they heavily promoted it when it opened, so night want to check that one out.

I'll be in Vegas on Friday the 24th through that Sunday.

If you're there mid-week (not Friday and Saturday)...go to "The Hotel at Mandalay Bay" about an hour before sunset. Go up to the top floor...and you can get in to the "Mix Lounge" for free before 10:00 on most weekdays. The view of the strip at sunset is incredible, probably the best view in the city, and you don't get kicked out of the over-the-window tables until 10:00 (when bottle service takes over). At that point you can stay or depart, but it's free and excellent.

Honestly its just a fun spot during the day.

Last time I was there we spent some time on a Thursday evening @ Studio 54 at MGM. Dance clubs aren't exactly my thing, but the wife enjoyed herself. I haven't been to any others though so I really don't have a good way to compare.

I'd say Spearmint Rhino or one of the other strip clubs is a "must" of Vegas. If your wife isn't prude I think it would be a great night for you both. She will get just as much and probably more attention than you

Got back late sunday night and had an absolute blast. It was about my 10th time out there and probably the best. We did a cabana at the MGM pool on Friday and got table service at Pure that night. Had an awesome meal at Okada in the Wynn on Saturday night. Just an all around awesome time
