BA leading off, interesting

I am interested in this Quentin fellow? I hear he can hit, no?

Webcast is on. I have a feeling these webcasts will only be that one camera angle from the press box. Could be wrong.

I may be an idiot, but how do you get to the Webcast?

Same here, I can't figure it out. I try accessing it from whitesox.com and they take me to the page for subscribing to mlb.tv.

Edit: Figured it out, you can access it from here: http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/mediacenter/#20090302

You swap Lillibridge with Getz you've got my ideal opening day lineup, nice.

click on the "im a subscriber" link on the right hand corner and just register. its still free though.

Looks like they have multiple cameras, so that's good.

It's also on mlb.com. its the first big box thing that you see in the middle of the screen.

While not the best quality thats still pretty awesome that the sox gave us some free games.

Go Sox!

i think it's important for richard to be successful this spring, he could be the next nick masset but effective

I kinda like the behind home plate camera.

Wow, any ideas why most of the starters are playing today?

And who's pitching?

which is weird, because they showed that they have a camera stationed for the standard view behind the pitcher, but they aren't using it for some reason

Nice inning for Clayton.

123 inning for Richard.

Thanks for the help. Nice inning break music selection.

from cowley's blog earlier:

cst_sox: Colon now finished.

cst_sox: Contreras done. Front office has to be thrilled with that showing.

cst_sox: Contreras has a lot more pop than Colon right now.

cst_sox: Contreras even dropping his arm down. Impressive.

cst_sox: Colon does look very round.

cst_sox: Contreras and Colon warming up. Both look strong.

First 'home" game at Camelback Ranch.

That's 3 scoreless innings for him so far.

I think they'll definitely have to enlarge that hitter's background or hope those trees grow out there in CF. It does look like the Williamsport one, that was Konerko's joke.

Bill Melton likes the Mariners' rotation because of the veteran presence of Jarrod Washburn and Eric Bedard. Yeah Bill, they're awesome.

Sox go down in order. Not a good AB for Quentin, grounding out on first pitch.

Washburn was a blazing 5-14 last year.

I'm really glad Belton doesn't do the radio or TV on a consistent basis.

Quentin hasn't looked locked in yet this spring...I'm sure he will come around and get locked in eventually.
