with all the gloom and doom posts here i can see we are all in mid season form,or is this a Bears forum?

A week left of spring training, and Cox sent Thome in a 12-3 spring training game...that's piss poor.

They both were topping out at 93. Hopefully it's just a bad day, and they can get one good outing each before facing the Twins.

Dye was a notoriously slow starter before the Sox, has been pretty good with us, though 05 was pretty typical from him.

 

But yes, everyone b**** and complain about a spring training game! Jesus, I'd hate to live like you all.

If Colon is topping out at 93, that's a great sign. Probably the same for Jose but we all know how he can bounce around sometimes and still be successful. These 2 are due for the same sort of dead arm period the rest of our guys hit a couple weeks ago.

I honestly still think Joey did a hell of a job for us....maybe I am just slow and retarded, but it seems like we scored a lot more runs by pushing the envelope than we did with Jeff Cox holding everyone up...
