Ugh, leadoff walk. Contreras just has nothing to put away these lefties.

Great play by Getz.

Excellent range by Getz!

PK getting a lot of action at first.

That play saved the inning.

Okay, silly question: why does the first baseman show the ball to the umpire when he records the third out and takes the ball back to the dugout? Is he getting his permission to take it out of play? Why then doesn't an outfielder who tosses the 3rd out to the crowd do the same?

He's already the best 2nd baseman we've had at going to his left since Durham.

Come on Alexei, break out of it.

He just seems like he's going to be consistent on the routine plays and has a decent amount of athleticism. Not flashy, just fundamentally sound.

I just saw Alexei NOT chase a slider low and away. hallelujah?

Thanks for throwing him inside fastballs!! Get him in and over BA

Solid AB from Alexei, nice outcome.

Let that be the one that gets it started for Alexei.

Anderson with an RBI groundout up the middle. Solid.

Alexei very nice

Brian gets the job done, small ball is finally happening with this team.

Good job by Anderson...Ramirez could have got to 3rd on that.

Should ARam be at 3rd? Bad base running?

Very promising that he's hit it on the button twice tonight.

He was close to f***ing it up.

Buck Martinez just said the Lexi made a bad baserunning play...should have been on 3rd. WTF game is he watching?
