gameday has him in the lineup, and I think that goes based on the lineup card presented by the manager.

Weaver's already making us look silly.

Weaver absolutely owns us. I think I'm happy with the series win.

Facing Cy Weaver today and Greinke on Sunday = need to win on Friday and Saturday.

Weaver has a no-hitter right now

take that, rally monkey

Gavin isn't really all that accurate right now

Gavin really needs to try and throw that curve when he gets 2 strikes on a hitter. Hell, he has more control of that than his fastball.

Go Sox. I took a triple dose of prozac so I can put up with the negativity here. Do I have to start singing Journey?

Stoney "Bobby just isn't going to swing at a bad pitch"

Nobody would swing at that garbage, steve

rack em up!

What's the record for SB's given up in a single game?

Cancel the postgame show.

Anderson and Fields both have to lay off that chest high pitch. Neither of them have any chance at hitting it.

farmer and DJ were talking about the rotation weaver gets on his fastball, which makes it look like a breaking pitch and how the high heat could fool them into thinking it'll break down into the zone, which is why pods swung so badly at that high heater in the first inning

ps, does hawk have to mention those LG skyline seats or something? did they pay the sox so he would talk about them every single game? cuz... he has been.

For every Verlander who we rip but no one else seems to be able to, there's a guy like Weaver too, who we just aren't close to.

nice job so far gavin!

Floyd Ks 2 of 3.

Good inning for Gavin. Appeared to make excellent use of his curveball there.

Nasty curve by Floyd to strike out Rivera.

Better than hearing about Mully/Hanley every game. Gavin's hook is filthy right now! Even if we lose this game tonight, I'll be ok with it if Gavin pitches well.

hmm, i wouldn't use weaver in that analogy, i'd say somebody like Sonnanstine instead

Did anyone notice how close Hawk was to saying that Beckham would be playing 3rd base for Charlotte, and it wouldn't be good for Fields?

Getz had no chance there, we'll see a lot of that tonight
