I'll gladly take a tie game after this inning. The #9 hitter really seems to be a rally starter vs the Sox this year.

Come on Gavin, you just got that ERA below 6, let's keep it there.

He needs to get right at Abreu this AB.

ballgame

Gavin really s*** the bed this inning. Hung two different curves with 2 strikes. Floyd is absolutely miserable out of the stretch.

Please. If we keep it close, Fuentes is as hittable as they come.

Stoney's blasting Gavin.

I could feel a homer coming in the Abreu at bat. Guess I was wrong.

Floyd will always be a headcase which is the biggest reason he gets hit.

Hawks blasting his sphincter.

Game about to be 5-1

Why can't opposing pitchers just fall apart like that?

3-1, more to come!

Gavin playing a game of how many hangers can one throw in an inning. A great start is now on the verge of being another 5 run outing by Gavin.

might as well keep gavin in the game until abreu comes up to bat next, then bring in thornton

It is amazing that this team can not get Abreu out.

They need to hit the ball.

Here comes another 7 pitch inning.

Hawk's b****ing about the late flighht seems to want to get them out of there ASAP.

it's more amazing that we have 4 hits and even more amazing that we have scored a run, i think the shutout had a lot of us fooled into thinking we had a chance to win this game

If it makes anyone feel better, Peavy had a similar blow-up today to what Gavin did.

Damn Brian, you're going to open the door for DWise.

Whatever happens tonight, I hope all of us enjoy tomorrow's off day. We've just won 3 straight series, and even the losses in those series were close.

3 runs over 6 innings is still a QS correct.

Come on Nix, we need this run.
