July 29, 200916 yr QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 07:10 PM) Isn't that the record Jenks tied in 2007 that Gathright got the hit to end? Yep
July 29, 200916 yr If you could only play all 9 positions, and bat all spots in a game(with the exception of Beckhams spot in the order)....maybe you would have had another perfect game winning 10-0 Edited July 29, 200916 yr by onedude
July 29, 200916 yr This streak, without having to face a pitcher, and 6 innings on turf is about as great a streak as we may ever see
July 29, 200916 yr Not to be a dick, but it was Alexi Casilla that was walked to break the streak. What a sweet run....very impressive. My son asked me if I thought MB's face would appear on the outfield wall some day, lol, I think that's pretty much a given at this point.
July 29, 200916 yr QUOTE (WCSox @ Jul 28, 2009 -> 08:49 PM) What a season for Mark. Now if only Pods could catch...
July 29, 200916 yr Mark should return the gifts he ordered for the team after the embarrassing defensive display last night.
July 29, 200916 yr Congrats to Mark. What he has done is truly amazing and couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
July 29, 200916 yr I thought this feat was just as important as the perfect game... Of course, the perfect game was part of this feat as well.
July 29, 200916 yr QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 29, 2009 -> 12:31 PM) I thought this feat was just as important as the perfect game... Of course, the perfect game was part of this feat as well. When you consider the fact that a perfect game had been accomplished 17 times before, and this had never been done, then yeah it's pretty damn impressive.
