Soooo Where was Jenks tonight

Featured Replies

During the post game on Comcast, they said a writer from the Tribune reported Bobby Jenks was not at the ballpark. Does anyone know the reason because they never said anything?

I just saw the box score and noticed that Bobby didn't pitch in the 9th. I'm starting to think a trade is in the works.

i heard he left because of family issues

Family issues.

That's what Pat Boyle said later in the post game.

Old Country Buffet. Their prices are so low, you'd miss the ninth inning for them.

Kidney Stones is the word.

Family Issues, its what ozzie said nothing more nothing less.

From Mark Gonzales Twitter update:

Jenks has kidney stones, will return Friday.

I guess that's a family issue.

It was a recent issue, unrelated to his pitching struggles.

So the story goes from: not available due to illness, not at the ballpark, ozzie says he has issues, issues turn into family issues, and now it's kidney stones?

Sounds kind of weird

Bartolo is gone for his start... Bobby is gone during this game. Coincidence?

kidney stones usually dont just appear overnight...

Yeah, that's another part that makes it sound weird to me. Okay, communication can make the reports be wrong, but they said he will be back tonight. Don't kidney stones linger? Did he release them? Should he really have been pitching if it was bothering him?

my dad had them and he got sound waves shot into his kidneys to break them up...then you piss them out over the next few days...hurts like a b**** but not as bad as trying to pass them whole...

Watched the game last night on MLB-TV and when Thornton was pitching the 9th the announcers said Jenks had kidney stones and was out of commission
