damnit.

Might be a good idea to get the pen going.

burls tossing BP

Phil Hughes is fresh today so we better not wait too long to get it back.

Get the pen up. mark not looking good today.

Good chance Jhonny Nunez will take the mound today.

safe to say the yankees REALLY don't want to get swept

Huge DP. Bats dont fail me now.

Just put some beers in the freezer and am hoping to enjoy it in the later innings as opposed to relying on it, so to speak

Would be a shame not to take advantage of the Tigers and Twins getting pounded today.

how the f*** did we lose 3 of 4 to the tigers?

Buehrle lookin' pretty rough today, but this is, normally, a pretty solid hitting team in the Yankee$.

Lets take this one boys!

Yes!! Racial Hawk!

can't wait for Lexi to get healthy

I'm pretty much done with the whole Jayson Nix thing. His defense hasn't been great lately and he isn't hitting. I'm tired of seeing him pull countless balls down the LF line. As a utility man, great. As a starter, no thanks.

I've seen enough of Mark.

enough

What the f***ing f***? Every hit has been in the hole or up the middle.

The problem with Buehrle's increased attention recently is that all these ML players were watching him work the last two starts. Today the book is definitely out on him

Very un-Buehrle performance today.

MB has been a full time starter in 2001. There was already a book on him.

Is it just me or have half those base hits gone to Alexei's right?

Yea but in the grind of 162 games, hitters dont get a chance to review each specific guy thoroughly. The atypical amount of attention Mark got in the nat'l press probably highlighted some of the things he does, as a bit of a refresher.

And if anything it aids all those younger Yanks that have NOT been in the league since 01.

That ball just killed someone.
