Griffey on playing for the White Sox

Featured Replies

What a class act, that Ken Griffey Junior. Love him.

I wonder how Griffey would do as a hitting coach someday?

Junior is one of the all time greats and a sure HOFer. Like Carlton and Seaver, I'm glad he got to spend some time with the Sox...

I want to imagine he would be awesome, but you can't teach the awesomeness that is his swing. His smooth mechanics are unparalleled from the left side of the plate. But yes, I do think he would be a great influence in teaching patience and the 'hitter's eye'

I just wanted to add my love. Griffey was my favorite player growing up, I read everything about him. I like to think him and jim thome will be two players that go to the Hall of Fame that we know for sure did not do anything illegal to there bodies.

Frank Thomas

(remember him?)

It's nice to know that when he's enshrined in Cooperstown with his Seattle hat, his plaque will say "Chicago, AL 2008" on it. That's pretty cool.

When did Mike Tyson have his face tattoos removed?

Somebody's enjoying retirement. Good for him, though. He'll still look chiseled on his statue.

Staring at the pitcher with the bat bouncing on his shoulder. Standing very, very tall.

I can't help but think, that Baines should have had the same career . . .

It's too bad we never got to see Frank charge the mound. The pitcher would have s*** his pants on site.

Frank doesn't throw up at parties, he throws down
