If Bobby Cox was managing the sox, Pods would be pulled and we'd be seeing a Quentin/Rios/Dye OF right now.

Cox would have been ejected on the awful called 3rd on Rios in the 3rd.

I don't think I've ever seen a guy get picked off 3RD BASE before, and if I did.. must have been a long time ago. Pods might be the first player in a long time to get picked off 1B, 2B, and 3B in a season.

He's had a very good year, but it sucks when your baseball I.Q. is the size of a raisin.

And it's one of those little ones, too, kinda crushed at the bottom of the box.

We didn't lose the game, at least not yet.

Have some f***ing faith.

I can now remember Pods getting picked off of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd base in the last month. Thats freaking sad.

Ozzie was a bad baserunner!

not as bad as GO to SS

Or fly balls at Pods.

I think since the botched Cubs game, no dumb thing Ozzie ever does surprises me anymore. I'm getting used to his idiotic managing. I just have to wonder how many games it costs us every year; not that I'm insinuating a loss here would be Ozzie's fault. We've played like s*** tonight.

You have to wonder if we would win more games if there was a manager who tried to be a little more creative and strategical. You never see us put on pick off plays or throw a pitch out, etc.

The only thing that made me nervous about Becks in the 2 hole, was that our manager forgets the year we are in and what league we play in. Doubles high contact hitters don't require a bunt to move a runner.

As stupid as it was, Pods practically crawling back to third on his hands and knees all late made me laugh pretty hard.

Agreed. He never really got back, instead finding himself hung up on his own shoulder.

How the hell did Pods get picked off 2nd base? I don't remember that.

Thornton just made Ichiro look like a woman.

I have despised Cox since the day he arrived here. He is BEYOND brutal at his job.

Way to man up Matt

Yup, Caribbean and fireworks night at the cell

I think that was the night after the famous first pitch fastball to Vlad in a tied game in the 9th.

Thornton aces Suzuki. Clutch.

If Beckham gets that bunt down this ball game is over. Ozzie would look pretty smart then. It's not his fault Becks and Pods screwed the f***ing pooch.

Nice job by Matt, we get another chance.

There's 2 guys who really need more $ on their team.. Thornton and Don Cooper. Beckham will get his in the future.

T-Bone just smoked Ichiro

Now there's another guy whose baseball I.Q. was bad.

It was only fitting that they were traded for each other -- the all-stupid-clearance trade.

I'm thinking Langerhans will walk-off, because his name's very weird.

Ha! My roomate said the exact same thing.

Sometimes I wonder if Hawk gives players the finger when they make bonehead plays like that.
