Man, if all the hitters live up to their potential, a 1-2-3 with Rios/Beckham and Quentin would make me salivate.

Anyone else think Rios looks a ton like Javier Vasquez?

And wow. What a bonehead call. WTF, ump?

Umpires should be fined $5k for every terrible call they make. Maybe we'll see the quality of umpiring rise if there's real penalties for sucking at it.

Surprised he didn't ring him up after the ball hit the knob of his bat.

Gameday had it as a borderline strike.

It was high and a few inches inside. Rios had maybe 1/4 of a swing at it.

I could see this from Gameday photo.

Wow, the zone shrank for a second. makeup call? not that it makes it up

If Rios gets off to a slow start the fans will turn on him faster than you can say Orlando Cabrera.

The fact that folks didn't automatically think something was wrong with Getz says a little something about how little we trust Ozzie's lineups.

Well what are u supposed to think, Ozzie has practically already said sometimes he makes decisions based on his gut. That means u will tend to see some WTF type decisions from him.

Agreed

Aardsma kinda looks like an elongated Aaron (rowand)

We had a lot of base runners already and RISP.

Base hit please.

Lefties are doing well against King Felix. Wish we had more.

but people here love a defensive cf with limited offensive abilities

not that i think he'll be that, but worst case scenario of course

TCQ is not very good right now.

Some miserable at bats by our righty hitters tonight. Hernandez is getting a lot of called strikes and then swings out of the zone.

At this point maybe Wise should be in the game. Has a lefty hitter made an out yet?

Well, if you can't score on Felix, you can make him throw a lot of pitches (51 through 3) and hope to get to their pen.

Oh, I don't disagree. I just think it's pretty funny.

His 1.012 OPS in his last 11 games disagrees.

Not true:

Going into last night, since Quentin has been back from the DL he's batting

.257/.350/.457 for a .807 OPS

His last 11 games he's batting

.342/.432/.684 for an OPS of 1.116

Wow G&T - beat me and with updated stats... NICE!

Yeah, my mistake, I haven't watched in about a week or so when he was still struggling. I'll double-check before ever disparaging the great one again.
