Kepp the f***ing tag on him Nix.

How many mental lapses can one person have in the field over a 2 week span?

Horrible play, twice.

yeah. let's judge him by his first 3 games or so.

yeah. because i totally just wrote him off for 4+years by saying that.

damnit nix keep the tag on him!!!!!

Farmer and DJ are insisting he was out and Nix only pulled up because he felt the tag.

What an epic tune to play as the opposing pitcher walks off. I love it!

pure foolishness.

I've seen Wuertz pitch so much the past few years, and I have no idea how righties hit him. Of course Ozzie shouldn't have ph Wise for Rios, but it would be nice to see him start to use his bench more to play match-ups.

Good call. Hand on the base before the tag.

That's what it looked like to me. He tagged him on the elbow.

He was definitely out, very bad call by the ump. Started to signal out, then switched to safe.

For a guy who is supposed to be all world with the glove, Nix sure does make his share of physical and mental errors.

How did Rios miss play that ball?

LF was way closer as Rios was shaded to Right Field.

If Rios doesnt back up the play it may go to the wall for a triple...

Nix definitely put the tag on him. The question was whether he was on the bag when the tag was on. It looked like Nix just got him.

One of those angles looked like he was very safe. It was very close, even slowed down. Nix needs to stay with the play.

Nix can turn two but he's been awful in all other respects so far thisyr

Cmon Octavio

Hopefully Dotel blows them away.

Nix should have made sure to tag him when he was off the entire bag...come on.

Yeah, on second viewing, it was closer than I thought, but I still think he was out.

Nix's mental lapse overshadowed the fact that Pods played that ball terribly!

Does Bobby have the day off or something? I don't like the idea of using Dotel here...

Where's Thornton?
