Greinke has never won on 8/19/2009 in his career, so lets hope the Sox can capitalize on this stat and take the Royals down.

To all those who think Greinke is slumping, check his stats, he's just not getting any run support. This is going to be tough, but we can pull it off.

I'll be there, and the Sox are undefeated in my time at games this year, including one game against The Royals (opening day), so let's hope I'm the lucky charm!

The last two times we faced him we scored four runs each and won the game. Unfortunately, we had Danks pitching both of those games, not Jose.

Just f***ing win.

Can't lose anymore ground on the Tigers especially with them going into a long road stretch and some tough series.

Ugh, I really hoped we'd never have to see Jose pitch again...

I really hope we can pull this off today. I'm really starting to think the season is slipping away.

I like the way you think. This, combined with the fact that the Sox are undefeated on 8/19/2009 to date, hopefully means good things are in store.

This is lasting longer then I expected.

The Royals are hitting us well, I don't expect that to change this afternoon. Unless we score some runs off Greinke today (like more than four), we probably lose a home series to the lowly Royals.

Can Podesednik not play right field??? Rios should be in center everyday, hes so much better at it than anyone else

hopefully if it's a close game and 1st base is open with Butler up Ozzie lets someone else beat them today

He only had 14 doubles yesterday.

This

Runner going from 2nd to home on a single to right. Do you want Podsednik in RF or Rios?

The better question is whether Quentin can play RF. Or if Ozzie is willing. An outfield arrangment of Pods7, Rios8, and Quentin9 makes a ton of sense, but don't tell Ozzie.

Sox are gonna lose anyways, and I generally feel good about this team. Not scoring runs against a s***ty pitcher when he gives you opportunities =! scoring runs against a great pitcher when he doesnt give you opportunities.

It'll be close till the 5th, and they'll blow it in the 6th. Final scores ends up 6-3 Royals.

Jose and 3E8, prove me wrong!!!

Pods in the field. We better hope the Royals don't hit anything to the wall, or in front of him, or to the side of him, or by him.

Is this the first time AJ has caught Jose since he came back.. I can only remember Castro being behind the plate for him since he returned from the minors.
